KCYF-FM Sutter Creek has their license cancelled.

Seems it is still active. What indicated it was cancelled?
It appears that was the license to cover for a CP filed in November 2021. A second license to cover is shown as granted today. Likely FCC clean up.
Either way it does NOT appear that the station's license was cancelled. I could be wrong, but see nothing in any FCC database pointing to that result right now.
I think it's just taking some time to show up in the system. This is now showing in an attachment. It wasn't showing earlier today:
"At this time, the Blue Mountain Players are ready to cancel the license for KCYF-FM Sutter Creek, and to delete the call sign 107.9 FM / CH298."

Weird that it was attached to a license to cover app. Usually the deletions end up being appended onto the last license renewal.
So does this mean KJCN will be on full-time? Wonder how that will work out.

I don’t think the folks at Blue Mountain Radio had the ability to reliably get the programming to the TX site near Jackson Rancheria. It would remain on the air with dead air or poor quality highly overmodulated audio. Too far to relay either KQBM or KQBM-LP.
The tower was a 20’ job with a single bay antenna. Transmitter shack was smaller than most sheds. At 20w ERP, that ain’t gonna get you far. Even at its advantageous location, you’d have a tough time hearing more than a mile to the east, and it was frequently clobbered by KZSZ in Colusa year round in Sutter Creek just 4 miles to the west.
I’m assuming this means KJCN has the option of taking the frequency full-time. It is technically the superior transmission site (Mt Zion), but I’ve had strong doubts they’re broadcasting from there. They’re frequently off the air (as I speak they haven’t broadcast since the last snow storm…even though they have had power on Mt Zion), and don’t play any legal IDs. When there is programming, it’s French rock, J-pop from the 80’s, riot grrl music, and the same 2-3 band interview shows from a LPFM in Modesto. Almost like it’s a placeholder.
Definitely not stuff the fine folks of Amador County are into listening to, and I’d argue an amateur broadcasting setup. Bet you if you find their transmitter there would be no EAS or anything of the sort there.

KJCN has no web site. Their Secretary of State Status is not valid.

How does this station serve Sonora Ca. ???
It doesn't, but the name of the licensee is not relevant to community coverage. In other words, a station licensed to Yreka, CA could be owned by "Catholic Dioscese of Los Angeles" with no problems.
It has to cover the city of license.
According to the FCC, KCYF did cover Sutter Creek. You’d have a tough time knowing it since KZSZ stepped all over the signal. From Sutter Hill, you’re nearly line of sight to the KZSZ transmitter. Bottom line, for that signal (and even the still-active) KJCN to actually put a usable signal in Sutter Creek, you’d have to put more wattage with a lower height.
With KCYF’s formerly-licensed facility, they had the ability to run about 4-5 kW from there as a class A. The fact that they only ran 20w shows the shoestring nature of the setup. I’ll be driving by the old tx site in the next two days. I’m curious if it is still all there
