They preempted that for this?

Addition to my above post
I don’t know how many central time zone CBS stations carry LMAD at 9am. I know KIMT Mason City, IA does and looks like they are going to show Wheel and Jeopardy during that time slot Thursday and Friday
KGAN in Cedar Raids Waterloo does too and they will be airing Dr. Phil both days.

KCCI stays the same as they always show Live with Kelly and Ryan at 9

what was interesting yesterday was my CBS station WANE Fort Wayne. Had let’s make a deal scheduled for 3 o’clock. But the normal episode of Rachael Ray aired. And I’m in the eastern daylight time zone of Indiana. Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy will be airing at 10 o’clock and 1030 retrospectively Thursday and Friday

I’m glad they finally appear to actually be taking care of Wheel. But don’t tell Sony. Apparently it’s a sin to air Wheel outside of prime access. But it’s OK to air Jeopardy. Not to pull a WheelRob or anything.

What time did syndication shows get moved to in your market due to basketball?
well when you're in a market where one company owns all the stations in the market they just move stuff around. Gray owns our CBS, FOX and NBC (along with CW) so they just move stuff around
-Noon news (which is on CBS) they moved to NBC and put TMZ, which is on at 1:12am, to 12:30 pm
-Rachael Ray, normally on at noon on NBC, they moved to TMZ's slot (1:12am)
-Dr Phil 3:00pm CBS they moved to FOX which bumped both episodes of Pictionary. The new episode was on at 2am on FOX. the rerun was nuked
-6:00 pm news which is on both CBS & NBC was just on NBC
-Wheel 6:30 CBS moved to after late late show (so 1:37am)

The same thing happened to me last night when I tried to watch Wheel on WSBK due to CBS airing NCAA. I have the channel on my Bell Fiber Op cable and when I tried to tune in last night, it switched over to a simulcast of CTV 2 Atlantic and showed The Big Bang Theory like it did last night. I still don't know why it got me confused but it is what it is.

I'm sure it has to do with your provider not realizing that WBZ Boston moved Wheel and Jeopardy to WSBK due to basketball. I'm thinking they have a "hard simsub" set up to automatically switch to CTV2 Atlantic to simsub BBT.
Unless someone at Bell Fibre realizes the mistake. next Thursday and Friday will be the same

The NHL All-Star Game is taking place in South Florida & WPLG in Miami is preempting the replay of the NFL Pro Bowl Skills Challenge & the Alex Ovechkin special GR8TNESS. They're bumping the Pro Bowl Skills competition to overnight, but not giving the same treatment to the NHL special leading into the All-Star game that's taking place in their own market!!!
This shouldn't really be a surprise because Miami isn't really a hockey town (And if it weren't for the Tampa Bay Lightning, Florida wouldn;tr much of a hockey state)

There are normally procedures in place, or the News Director makes the call.
One such case would be where they just take if off air & air portions of such a speech like that. Now if it was the State Of The Union address, that's different

What do you mean? There wasn't any particular reason for them to switch to CTV2 Atlantic so that they can broadcast TBBT instead of Wheel during the NCAA tournament since they already have the simsubbing rights to that program. There has got to be some other solutions we could come up with I would assume.

Soccer is on at noon Mountain time
The NCAA starts at 10am Mountain time
A fair amount of CBS stations in the mountain time zone show TPIR at 9 and LMAD at 10 so why bother show LMAD for a couple affiliates who show it at 9 Mountain? Even TPIR are in reruns on Thursday and Friday
KCNC 4 (CBS O&O) DOES NOT do this. LMAD airs at 2:00 PM

Should I perhaps give them a call to let them know what is going on? I just hope someone at Bell Fibre doesn't screw this up again.

I'm not in Canada but did have a Star Choice (Shaw Direct) system back in the day (10+ years ago) so I do know about simsubbing.
Bell I know is notorious for mass simsubs but I thought it had to be a US Big 4 station for them to simsub. I guess maybe the Superstations are not immune
It sounds like Bell didn't realize that WBZ moved Wheel and Jeopardy over to WSBK and forgot to tell the computer to not simsub.
