February 2023 Ratings

No massive jumps. No insane crashes.

WBEN looks good. WOGL looking even better.

KYW looking solid. So is WHYY.

WIP with a post-eagles dip, as to be expected.

WRNB and WTDY with minor signs of life.

For 2/2-3/1/2023, age 6+ alternate view:

Top 5+ demo rankings analysis will become available on Tue. 3/21/2023 via AllAccess.com.

wumr back down as anticipated, bring the breeze back.
wrff the predictable tik up
whyy with the heavily liberal population in the mid Atlantic metros no rocket science.
The Breeze billed poorly. It's not coming back unless it's desperation.
WRFF is back to pre-Christmas levels, but they are still low compared to previous years.
WHYY is seeing some of their best numbers ever in the past couple of years. It's not just liberals that listen.

18-49: 1. WMMR 2. WDAS 3. WIP 4. WBEN (up from #8) 5. WBEB 6. WOGL (up from #13) 11. WMGK (down from #5)

Interesting that WPEN-FM ( sports) is up very slightly despite Eagles season is over. I wonder how much of WIP’s decrease is from Eagles season ending and how much is because of the new WIP lineup including morning show. Time will tell.

Thats because Radio 104.5 was a much better station. Argue all you want but part of that station died when the name changed.

more so is when music intense mornings with Johnny was bounced for this moron, IMHO the average Alternative listener prefers music not jabber. Their first 5 years were their best, plenty of punk, grunge, raw alternative and over a 4.0 every book.

I agree 100%! 2007-2012 104.5 was 90% if not more of my radionlistening. I really regret not recording it back then. I have a lot of recordings from 2012 and on but nothing too old. If i knew then what i know now. I also should have recorded G Rock 106.5 when i had the chance.

G Rock 106.3 was the best for cutting edge Alternative, when I would vacation in Seaside they were on non stop. Just like Radio 104.5 at their birth going from the Pistols to the Flys, Screaming Trees and the Specials, plus all the harder new stuff. Maybe WPEN should flip to Classic Alternative, to complete the Beasley wall of Rock, CA seems to be the new fad which many stations are flipping to.....

I forgot they broadcasted on 106.3 as well. Im always searching for unscoped airchecks but coming up empty handed

Those demo ranks seem unusually low for B101. I wonder how wide or narrow the gap was between them and the respective first place stations in 25 to 54 and 18 to 49 ? Perhaps it was razor thin.

Same question also applies to WMGK.

Fanatic rakes in a ton of $ for the company. No way that they’re flipping it.

WBEN is top 5 in the prime demos while WOGL is not.
Sometimes WOGL gets close, but Ben seems to always have better numbers where they matter most.
WOGL does have a higher cume and they win 6+ over Ben which means OGL does better 45+.
Both stations have sister stations that are stronger and more important.

i think WOGL and WBEN are very close to each other in A25-54
Using a multi-month rolling average that does not include Christmas, WBEN is 60% higher than WOGL.
