Dead air on 102.3?

What’s up with 102.3 lately? They have been dead air for about 2 days now. They were briefly up and running this afternoon but now they’re once again silent. They were having issues with audio cutting out for the past few weeks but it was only intermittent and never more than a few seconds.

It's still occurring.. In fact it seems to be getting worse because I have heard it occasionally when I punch in. Is anyone home over at Alpha?

I just read an article from Business First that Alpha moved from downtown to a new location in the East End in February. That probably explains the problem.

I thought alpha media may have moved to where Iheart use to be right there off the Watterson and Newburg road area but no. I wonder where in the east end they alpha mediaed off to 😂😂😂

It has been a hot minute since a radio station was in that area. Last time I believe was when cumulus had there short stint in Louisville and had 93.9 a classic hits station and a AM at 1450 not sure of there format. This was 2007. There offices were rt off hurstborne like a mile down or so going towards Westport road. Thanks Ron

Meanwhile, the audio quality on 105.1 sounds awful again the past few days... the same on-going issues that they've been having every few months since 2009, when they went from "everything that rocks" WLRS to talk radio.
