This has to be the most random channels ever considering this was more of a California market than a Colorado market.

SS Cable piqued my curiosity. Looking at the map, I saw the town of San Simeon, about 40 miles up the coast from San Luis Obispo.
It kind of fit. The nearest ABC stations are 120 miles away. I'm not familiar with the terrain there, but 120 miles is pushing it for OTA.

And then in the 2018 TV & Cable Factbook, I found the listing for "San Simeon Community Cable."
That system lists KCOY, KSBY, and KTLA as being received off-air. (KTLA seems unlikely. It's 200 miles away and I don't see any translators up that way. It had to be by satellite.

And it also lists KUSA and KRMA from Denver.
The Factbook does NOT list an ABC station. And since KCOY no longer is a CBS station, I wonder about their current lineup.

If the Denver prime-time lineup were from 7 pm to 10 pm MT, then that would be 6 pm to 9 pm PT. It would be kind of strange to have a prime-time network lineup that early, but it's better than nothing at all, and the same holds true anywhere that is on the eastern edge of the MT and PT zones, and gets its networks from stations in the CT and MT zones respectively. Sparsely populated parts of western ND, SD, NE, and KS, right on the edge of the CT/MT boundary, would be in the same predicament, as well as Elko County NV, part of the SLC market.

You would think that as recently as 2018, San Simeon cable could have gotten Los Angeles or San Francisco via satellite, thereby getting around the problems with OTA at such a distance.
