They preempted that for this?

We had a interesting situation where the Leafs-Lightning game had to start on TruTv because the Jets-Golden Knights game ran long, then they had to start the Avalanche-Kraken game on TruTv because the Leafs-Lightning game ran late. On top of that, local news started late due to Devils-Rangers going OT on ABC. While not technically preemptions, it should be mentioned.

I heard also that people got upset that impractical jokers got interrupted by hockey.
No different than the oodles of ESPN sporting events that get shifted to ESPN news or ESPN U due to the current program running long.

Tomorrow night, Wheel is airing on WSBK TV 38 in Boston at its regular time replacing the first half-hour repeat of TBBT due to the main WBZ channel airing PAA but the real suspicion is that Bell Fiber Op will likely switch WSBK Boston to CTV 2 Atlantic to simsub TBBT instead so I am assuming that this would likely affect the aformentioned station above.

Now it's more like programming getting shifted back to either ESPN or ESPN2 whenever there's MLB on one & either NBA or NHL (Soon NFL) running pver

BTW...Whatever happened to ESPNNEWS?? A LOT of that stuff typically goes THERE if it's not just on ESPN+

WBZ in Boston is airing Patriots All Access tomorrow night in the 7pm slot which is Wheel's time slot but in a half-hour format while the latter airs at its regular time on sister station WSBK replacing the first half-hour repeat episode of TBBT but again, Bell Fiber Op may choose to switch WSBK over to CTV 2 Atlantic like before so that they can simsub TBBT so the chances are highly likely.

Jeopardy will air at its regular time on the main WBZ channel of course.

Is this a one-time-only off-season airing of PAA to analyze the team's draft selections?

I just turned the channel at 8:32pm central time on Fox on Sunday May 28, 2023 and it says Nascar from 5pm to 9:30pm but Housebroken is on and it says it's an all new episode.

I wonder if Fox cancelled the Nascar game or if Nascar actually ended early which every time i ever seen it on TV it always dragged on forever.

Makes me curious what Fox aired for the rest of the night if they aired an all new episode of Housebroken when it wasn't supposed to be on this week.

i think those episodes of Housebroken may have been repeats but Fox forgot to remove the "All New" from the logo bug graphic, the 2 episodes were only airing as filler since the race got moved to Monday.

The race was postponed to Monday for the first time in 14 years, last rain postponed Coca-Cola 600 was in 2009, and they didn't run all 600 miles/400 laps due to rain that day in Charlotte.

also, FS2 programing tonight will be preempted as the NASCAR Xfinity race, which started this morning on FS1 after it got delayed from postponed from Saturday, got delayed to this evening after the Coca-Cola 600 wraps up on Fox.

Housebroken was new episodes as my wife watches the show and she said it was new. The next day they were both on Hulu as it said original air dates was May 28th. It was weird they aired new episodes instead as the episodes that did air was originally set to air both on June 4th from 8-9pm central.

There are a lot of sports and news junk still continuing to push Wheel and J! off the grid. Last night, the Big 3 networks cut into their regular programming during the 7pm ET hour for a special news report on Trump's indictment. ABC cut in at around 7:28 while NBC and CBS followed suit at 7:41 and 7:45 respectively. Most of the CBS stations including WBZ in Boston that were airing Jeopardy during the 7:30pm slot cut in during the Double Jeopardy! round to focus on Trump and it continued right through to the rest of the game preempting Final J!. All three networks had signed off around 8pm. Last week, all three networks cut into regular programming during the 7pm slot to air a special report on President Biden giving a speech about the U.S. ceiling debt where it had continued until 7:18. The stations that had Wheel on during that time slot preempted it for the most part right through R3. WBZ was no exception as they transferred Wheel over to their sister station WSBK despite the former not announcing it. FOX was the only U.S. major network to not cut in to those special reports.

I watch the 6pm News on WHO 13 an NBC affiliate and they went to President Biden for a minute then they went back to the channel 13 News and if you want a full report on president Bidens speech you can go to our website and click on NBC News.

All 4 news channels in the Hartford/New Haven market blew out all programming tonight due to Severe Thunderstorms and Tornado Warnings. Non-stop weather coverage started just before 6PM.

WFSB pre-empting Eyewitness News at 6, CBS Evening News, Inside Edition, and Entertainment Tonight.

WTNH pre-empting News 8 at 6, ABC World News, Jeopardy!, and Wheel.

WVIT pre-empting NBC Connecticut News at 6, NBC Nightly News, Extra, and Access.

WTIC-TV pre-empting Two 1/2 Men x 2 and Big Bang x 2.
But that's not all, All the Boston locals did the same so that they could keep track of the weather system. WBZ in particular had to interrupt regularly scheduled programming at the beginning of every half hour for those storm watch updates which I may not find very amuzing. Nonetheless, they've had stopped doing storm watch alerts as of 8pm ET.

WHDH and WCVB did the exact same thing as WBZ did but WFXT stayed with the non-stop weather coverage.

I have no idea what sort of ratings that NBC's Sportsworld pulled, but WSAZ in Huntington/Charleston pre-empted it more often than not, usually for an old movie or syndicated country music special. This almost always happened when Sportsworld was airing a boxing match. One of my teachers was a big boxing fan and he more or less boycotted WSAZ because of this. I told him to be glad he wasn't a wrestling fan-they were constantly bouncing that from time slot to time slot. I guess somebody in management of the station hated violence...
