WMEX off air this morning

Didn't get my fix of the greatest hits of all time driving into work.

Switched to the stream but it kept cutting out as I was driving on 24 and 95 so gave up and flipped to WJIB.

Streaming is definitely not the answer to everything.

Monday evening, I think they were on full power after dark, cuz I could hear them loud and clear in New Hampshire.

Supposed to be 100 watts after sunset.

Maybe they were testing whatever their Monday Morning problem was? (Or did someone forget to power down?)

I believe their power down and up process is automated, not done manually, though there could have been a problem with that.

I normally hear their 100 watt night signal here in E. Somerville, it comes up here across the Boston Harbor water, but it did sound stronger than usual at night a few nights ago. It sounds back to normal now.
