I won't say what it is but wow... you are good.

From 2012 to 2015, WOWO was simulcasting on 92.3. Then when WOWO got its translator at 107.5, it gave up 92.3 for Classic Hits WFWI.

I guess WOWO wants the better signal on 92.3. WFWI is 2,200 watts. WOWO's translator is 75 watts.

I see WOWO, on its website, is asking Congress to insure AM radio stays in new cars. I suppose we are going to see more and more big profitable AM stations decide that to keep their competitive edge, they will have to sacrifice a low-rated FM sister station to put the AM station on an FM simulcast. Just like Audacy has recently done for WINS, KNX, KYW, etc.

What would even constitute a "WOWO Plus"? Does FedMed even have the resources to do a more localized version of the talk format?

Fed Med likely doesn't have the debt that other groups do, but I don't know what they'd do but have some different talk shows on AM and FM. I suppose they could carry both Bongino and Clay and Buck for example. WDUN in Georgia runs different shows on AM and FM in some dayparts. I have no idea what they're doing in Elkhart or Warsaw

As of midnight May 1st WOWO+ has made its debut on 92.3 FM Fort Wayne. But the Big 92.3 website And web stream are still active with the previous format.

Correction to my above post It’s just the regular WOWO News/Talk format that’s on 92.3 no+ That will now most likely going to 107.5/WMEE HD2 when that time comes.

I guess at the very least, 92.3 can help fill in the coverage gaps west (and east?) of Fort Wayne when it comes to 1190's night pattern ... in addition to FM's inherent audio advantages over AM. But with only 2,200 watts, I can't see it adding much. More than a 75-watt translator, but that isn't saying much.

From the map it looks like it should cover Fort Wayne and Allen County well.
