To be more specific,having moved to Central Indiana in late 1983, 810 WATI was Beautiful Music, WIRE would have been Country; WNAP was somewhere between top 40 and Hot A/C; WFBQ was Q95-AOR. WNON was on 100.9, I believe they'd have been "Casual Country" bu then (a format I never quite understood), 103.3 was WXTZ, Beautiful Music.

I have always wonder how 1110 got out (signal wise) and their operation. I moved to Indy in ‘87, but is was Q-95 all the time for me back then.

I don't remember that much, but 1110 was co-owned, but not co-located with WNON, 100.9 in Lebanon. 1110 had a decent signal in some of the nor as thern suburbs of Indianapolis. I had gotten it as far away as Logansport.
