Now just KOVR & WJZ left after WBBM's launch today. If we were taking bets on which station would be last to get the CBS refresh, I'm sure smart money would be on WJZ which kinda makes sense since they were the last to get into the then-new CBS graphics. So the only stations left as of 4-14-2023 that haven't change are WBBM Chicago, WJZ Baltimore, and KOVR Sacramento.
Interestingly, if you look really carefully at the "2" in the titles & the "2" on the station bug on the bottom left, the font is different with the "2" in the bottom left bug using the WCBS style while the "2" carried over from CBS 2 Chicago is on the titles.WBBM in Chicago has launched their refresh & going the WCBS route with the CBS eye & the "2" inside the square. At least they actually make use of the ticker showing news where as WCBS just uses it outside of mornings as a promo for their website.
Wow it's crazy how KPIX was the first to get the New CBS Graphics and KOVR Sacramento is going to be the last CBS O&O to get the new Graphics. Most likely once KMAX-TV loses their CW Affiliation then they can rename themselves CBS Sacramento and CBS Sacramento+.In a bit of a stunner WJZ in Baltimore isn't the last CBS O&O to get refreshed as the rebranding took place today going the KDKA route, with just the call letters in the box. Now, they feel well & truly like a CBS O&O, especially with the music as they didn't go Enforcer when they refreshed before. KOVR in Sacramento is all that's left for the CBS O&O mass refresh.

How can KPIX drop their signature Anklepants "5" logo?? They've had that thing since 1965! That can't be gone! Now I guess WJZ is the only one left, if they even keep it, which doesn't sound likely.
None of the Group W stations used "Anklepants," which is a cheap and somewhat sloppy knockoff that didn't exist until the late 1990s.
The actual Group W typeface was a custom design that never had a name or was commercially available outside the company.
Incorrect. Just because some random Wikipedia editor called it that doesn't mean we called it that. Remember, I worked for Group W? This was before computerized fonts. Again, it had no official name. It was just the face we used for station logos (and nothing else!)Free Download Westinghouse Regular Font (Westinghouse Regular.ttf) - FontsAddict

Correct the font is named the "Westinghouse Font" which is associated with the former Group W broadcasting properties.
Good point though.Incorrect. Just because some random Wikipedia editor called it that doesn't mean we called it that. Remember, I worked for Group W? This was before computerized fonts. Again, it had no official name. It was just the face we used for station logos (and nothing else!)
Not "good point though". It is a cold hard fact correcting your mistake. Wikipedia is far from a correct source. Institutional knowledge goes a long way. And if anyone is an expert on what he states here it is @fybush whose name and credibility has long been established throughout this industry and not random anonymous Wikipedia editors or someone going by the name @Y2kTheNewOldies or @RadioFan9999999999999 etc...Good point though.
