WWDP-TV Ch 13/813 Comcast?

When I turn to Channel 13 on my Comcast system, it is home shopping (ShopHQ I believe)and Comcast identifies it as WWDP.

Is this the same feed that goes out over the air...because I never see any station identification on the channel, even if the ID is just a Chyron, I never see anything that indicates it's an over the air signal.

CORRECTION......WWDP shows up as Channel 818 on my Comcast system.

Anyone know of this channel and if it's a feed that goes out over the air?

I guess this is a station that no one pays attention to.....

The signal coverage is dreadful for a full power station - 5 kW on RF ch 10 from a very short 450 foot tower halfway between Boston and Providence. A total of 8 subchannels - one religious, one low budget independent, and 6 infomercial.

They know it, and applied for and were granted FCC permission to move to one of the Needham towers using 1000 kW at 1000+ feet on RF ch 36. That will likely get them some "signal respect" <g>.

Do you know if what I see on Comcast ch 818 is the feed that goes out over the air?

I never see a legal id.

Is anyone watching it? Does anyone care about this station?
I can sometimes get it if I position my rotor just right and the weather is just right. However I would assume they will be moving to the Needham site as quickly as they can obtain the equipment and arrange for a tower crew.

Here it is towering over the trees on MA rte 24 in West Bridgewater - look closely in the middle...
