TV Show Cancellation Thread (including ending ones)

NBC is canceling everything, it seems. I guess this is due to the writer's strike.
Too bad the networks can't fill with unsold pilots. They used to do that years ago, but apparently rights and royalty issues now get in the way. Often such pilots would be shown as one-off specials. Personally I would find these interesting just to see what ideas were floating around, as well as being off the beaten path.

Sometimes unsold pilots would be assembled as parts of a series; one example: CBS Summer Playhouse - Wikipedia

“Gotham Knights“ will no longer fight crime…
Knew it was coming but was hoping for a second second.

Few have found the path to make streaming original content a winning financial formula. Lots of money poured into the bottomless pit of content.

The only show I've seen on streaming that has lasted even though not original as it aired on Network for years is Days of our Lives. Everything else lasts a season or 2 3 if their lucky of 10 episode seasons then they get cancelled.

Network shows their numbers are shrinking and streaming their numbers aren't high enough to keep a show afloat for years that nobody watches cuz there's no promotion for it like there was on Network tv in the past.
