NPR correspondent Wade Goodwyn

https://www.npr.org/2023/06/08/1167837454/wade-goodwyn-npr-correspondent-dies

Texas-based reporter with a distinctive voice, who was known for his coverage of stories like the Oklahoma City bombing and the Branch Davidian standoff.
I remember hearing a few of his stories featured on one of the late afternoon national NPR programs years back and I did a Google search to find out more about him as his voice was so deep, booming and distinctive. NPR did a nice feature on Goodwin and his life a few days ago that was very well done and informative. It may be the one in the link you've provided above. RIP; his voice and reporting style were unique and easy to pick out for sure.
