Kramer from the old Kramer and Twitch Show in Dallas - and elsewhere.

Well, AllAccess will soon be no more - so I thought I'd punch in over here on RADIO DISCUSSIONS.

I've worked at WFLZ/TAMPA - KEGL/DALLAS - KSJO/SAN JOSE - KTRS/ST. LOUIS - WIOT/TOLEDO - WOCL/ORLANDO - WKRK/DETROIT

I now do voice over and host a syndicated weekend show called SUNDAY STRIPPED.

I killed Britney Spears long ago. Story here.

The industry is going thru a very very hard - and sad - time right now. I'd assume if you come here, you're a radio nerd like myself, and maybe this is a great place for some 'therapy'.

I hope all of you are well, happy and staying cool. I'm in Dallas, and it's 342 degrees outside right now as I write this at 8:22AM.

Welcome! Thank you for joining this fantastic group, from which I learn daily.

I am in Palm Springs, where it is about 346 degrees, so I feel the pain. But, in the midst of it all, "a big Radio Discussions welcome to a new listener participant!"

@DavidEduardo -- First, thank you. Second, I heard that the water temp down there is warmer than the air temp. I can't get over that. I'm certainly not a meteorologist, but that doesn't sound like a good thing for hurricane season.

We don't have hurricanes, just an occasional summer haboob and dust year-round. Being 8 miles south of the tail end of the San Andreas fault is a notable concern, along with the influx of people fleeing Los Angeles and buying $8 million dollar homes next to the Kardashians...

... that apparently frightened Sylvester Stalone so badly that he sold his place next to them and moved out of the valley!

@DavidEduardo - I'm an idiot. I read your post quickly and thought you'd written "PALM BEACH".
We still have tap water that can be hotter than blazes. Because we are in a quake zone, pipes run in the ceiling where they can bounce and jiggle around, and not in the foundation where breakage would mean tearing down the house.

So, when it is 119° like today, the tap water, run through pipes right under the roof and above the insulation, is well over 100°. And cold water, also run in the roof, won't cool down until you run the "ceiling water" off and draw on the water that come from underground pipes.

We are prepared to live on Mars, though.

I enjoyed your show on Live 97.1 in Detroit back in the day!

Thank you so much. It was exciting being in Detroit during 911. It was truly amazing seeing that City come together. That was one of my favorite moments of my career in that such an unbelievable tragedy could bring people so close. And then there was CP JOHN. I mean, come on...
