I think most PHX TV stations have already learned to substitute 'news' for anything entertainment when the costs get too high or the viewership get too low. There are way too many 'news' shows on air now that are meaningless, redundant, or not real news at all.I tuned into mytv (or Fox Xtra?) for Fox 10 News at 7 and it was no longer a live newscast. It appears that they are just doing a re-run of Fox 10 News at 5 now. Anyone else notice or have the scoop?
I assume it was simply not well-watched and expensive to produce.
Last time I tuned in (last Friday), they were running TMZ, which is what's shown in my phone's TV app for 45.1 at 7 PM.I think most PHX TV stations have already learned to substitute 'news' for anything entertainment when the costs get too high or the viewership get too low. I did notice that this week too, but it only happened when there was no Fox 10 News at 5 (because Soccer was being shown on 10).Last time I tuned in (last Friday), they were running TMZ, which is what's shown in my phone's TV app for 45.1 at 7 PM.
since may?It happened a few months ago, very quietly.
