It wasn't difficult at all to work for them, It was more so hard to land a gig there. The job security was amazing before Fisher sold to Sinclair, many people just stayed there and they didn't really get rid of anybody.

Eventually, I believe it became difficult since it was and is hard to gain ratings traction against KSWD and KRWM.

Right now they have Seth but they usually are successful no matter what morning show they have but not necessarily #1. Sometimes “The Sound” beats them anyways which is probably cause of Delilah which Warm no longer has cause they got rid of her to have a more upbeat playlist. Now Warm can’t add Delilah cause she is on their competitor even if they wanted to.

Listeners definitely need another reason to choose 101.5 over their competitors, and frankly, a big part of that is going to be tied to personalities. 106.9 is doing a great job with personality right now.

They play a lot of the same songs that Warm plays but they can’t seem to compete with them.

Star 101.5 didn’t do it until Kent went away just to make the station work. Curt and Courine went away before that due to budget cuts until the they decided to add Curt to mornings until Kent exited KPLZ.

I think that was around 2015 when that happened, but it didn’t affect the ratings unlike KPLZ.
