For the better part of this past decade, WMMR has carried on a tradition of playing their library, in alphabetical order, starting Labor Day weekend and ending the following weekend, or shortly thereafter. During this time, there are usually zero breaks for other rock blocks or special sets. A special exception was made last year for Queen Elizabeth II's passing, which happened during Pierre's show.
In keeping with what seems to be a new tradition at the station, since there are zero DJs at the booth, the A-Z is, apparently, taking a late night pause. I personally think it's a real shame for Beasley, especially since there may be quite a few third shifters who may have been hoping to tune in and hear it. Even the station's website didn't mention this shift.
