Those Urban One/ Radio One have experience in running country stations and Classic Rock?
Yes. Look to recently purchased clusters in Charlotte and Indianapolis. So far, no format or staff changes there.

I feel like they would be stupid to completely change stations that are preforming so well. Like The Eagle for example.Back to this topic, (in a way)
Those Urban One/ Radio One have experience in running country stations and Classic Rock? Do they have plans to change the formats of any of these stations they purchased? Do they have plans to keep them as is? Did they keep all the programmers? Like same business just different owners or are they going to try to run the station and fail?
Yeah. I mean, The Box and Majic have been the same formats since before Urban One bought them 23 years ago.I feel like they would be stupid to completely change stations that are preforming so well. Like The Eagle for example.
Not quite. CBD derived from marijuana is not legal federally, but that derived from hemp is.They advertise CBD products often. However, CBD is absent of THC, which is the hallucinogenic substance found in marajuana, Therefore, it is legal in all 50 states.
Hemp is a grass. It has no hallucinogen and does not create a high. They make rope out of it, and some kinds of fabric. If your employer saw you hitting CBD, THC, or hemp in a joint in a parking lot. I’m sure they’d raise questions morally
Yes, they are successfully running the former Emmis stations in Indianapolis. All you have to do is get the right programmers and sellers. Those Urban One/ Radio One have experience in running country stations and Classic Rock?

Precisely. And this translates into elevated ratings, because the quality content will result in more people tuning into the station, which results in higher billing. On the flip side, if you don't offer quality content, then you will lose audience share, and therefore you will have less billing. This is the primary reason KLLS failed, because music is no longer a viable format for AM, and most of the time the station was operating under a series of Silent STAs. A silent station offers zero content, and generates zero billing. All you have to do is get the right programmers and sellers.
My guess would be late October-mid NovemberSo......any BETS on when 97.1 flips to KLOVE??
Couldn't resist ... .
😂
Too much overlap with KHJK it would not make senseHow certain are y’all that they flip it to KLove and not to AIR1?
As mentioned earlier, it wouldn’t surprise me if Air1 wound up on the HD-2 to extend coverage to the north as well as being a new primary signal for the 95.3 translator in Conroe. Radio Nueva Vida is a possibility for HD-3.How certain are y’all that they flip it to KLove and not to AIR1?
K-Love is their dominant format and the one that produces the most in donations. And that is the name they paid "big bucks" to get released for use in Houston. How certain are y’all that they flip it to KLove and not to AIR1?
CBD and THC are separate substances. Cannabis contains both, while hemp, of the two substances, only contains CBD.That's what I said. CBD does not contain THC, and is legal in all 50 states.
I assume CBD from hemp or cannabis would show up in an employer's drug test whether THC accompanies it or not. If so, could a positive test mean trouble for an employee, or is it only THC that employers are testing for?CBD and THC are separate substances. CBD derived from cannabis is not legal in the United States. CBD extracted from hemp is.
Cannabis is a plant. Hemp is a plant. Each contain CBD, but the CBD from the cannabis plant is not legal.
You would pop on a screening the same as you would eating poppy seeds. It's not the THC in your system being tested, per se, but the AMOUNT of it in that is in your system. A few gummies will pass through your urine in a couple of days. Smoke an ounce of grass, and you're dirty for a month, at least.Could I have used them with no concerns as a working man?
Good question. I'd like to know if CBD causes a false THC test, as I've been using it for years for back pain, both in capsules and lotions.I assume CBD from hemp or cannabis would show up in an employer's drug test whether THC accompanies it or not. But nearly all commercialized CBD comes from hemp in the US. The owner of a CBD store here mentioned that using cannabis to extract CBD destroys the THC, which is not economically smart. You would pop on a screening the same as you would eating poppy seeds. This is true. You know, I have found that for my aches and pains, one bud of grass soaked inside of a bottle of isopropyl alcohol is an amazing solution to what ails me. It works wonders, and I've become a firm believer in it. I would likely fail a drug screening, but it certainly is nice to get out of bed in the mornings and not have a hard time doing it.But nearly all commercialized CBD comes from hemp in the US.
