Syndication for 2023-24

It’s safe to say that Byron Allen is the big winner this fall as many stations are now picking up his court shows out of necessity that didn’t air them before.
I might watch the first episode of Justice for the People with Marilyn Milian, but if it’s just actors playing roles in the cases then I’ll watch Judy Justice or People’s Court reruns.

It’s safe to say that Byron Allen is the big winner this fall as many stations are now picking up his court shows out of necessity that didn’t air them before.
Here in Cleveland, WUAB CW 43 will have 6 Byron Allen court shows

America's Court with Judge Ross
Justice with Judge Mablean
Equal Justice with Eboni K Williams
Supreme Justice with Judge Karen
We The People with Lauren Lake
Mathis Court (Judge Mathis' new show)

And since The Weather Channel is in BA's portfolio, he has a good chunk of channel 43's Sunday schedule as well (Storm of Suspicion, Weather Gone Viral, Top 10)

Independent WBNX 55 has one BA court show - Justice For The People with Judge Milian (who just ended a 22 year run on The People's Court), plus BA's game show Funny You Should Ask

I'm Remember watch Jepoardy! (Alex Trebek-era) at 3pm and Wheel of Fortune on WFAA-TV Channel 8 in Dallas, Texas. I was 20 years of age at time and my family moved from New York City back in Summer of 2002 and it was owned by Belo Corp. (before The Gannett Company) before both shows move to CBS O&O KTVT in September 2005, i think King World Productions (now CBSMV) and Belo Corp. contract has been expired after 2004-05 syndication season in some market, including WFAA-TV.
KTVT CBS 11 and KTXA former UPN 21 (now TXA21) has been airing Jepoardy! and Wheel of Fortune since September 2005.

In the meantime, WFAA-TV is now owned by TEGNA, Inc and largest market not owned by ABC O&O. (including LocaiIsh subchannel on x.2).

WXMI Fox17: will air 48 Hours 2PM to 3PM there going with 48 Hours & Dateline combo for 2 hours leading into news at 4PM.

CW7: Mathis Court 2:30PM to 3PM will compete with the second half of his older show on WXSP, Justice For The People 3PM to 4PM completing with Judge Milian People's Court Repeats LOL.

Positively America with Ernie Anastos - Early Sunday 4am & Sunday 11:30pm on KDSM 17 (Fox)

East Coast feed of David Muir looks permanent to KAPP-KVEW, Apple Valley News Now. 3:30 weekdays beginning Monday, and seems to continue through 9/20...
Other than Lauren Lake's We the People, which already airs on CW+, no other Byron Allen court shows will air here.

No "Who the Bleep Is That" in this market...isn't that a Fox O&O show?

Yes, Judge Milian's new show is just another scripted program. Do you see why I enjoy the Judge Judy repeats as much as I do? They are real people suing for ridiculous things...well, sometimes.

WXMI Fox17: We The People moves from 10AM to 12PM to 1PM, Drew Barrymore moves from 12PM back an hour to 11AM to 12PM, Fox17 Morning Mix moves up an hour 10AM to 11AM as the morning news is now 5AM to 10AM, Scripps News Live 1PM to 1:30PM, ICrime 1:30PM to 2PM & 1AM to 1:30AM, Scripps News going to have another news at 7PM to 7:30PM, Person Place, Or Thing 1:30AM to 2:30AM.

WXSP: Is indeed getting Jennifer Hudson at 5PM to 6PM I don't get why Wood TV didn't take J Hud at 2PM to replace Rachel Ray. Fast Home Rescue Late Sun/Early Mon 12:30AM to 1:30AM.

WOTV: Young Shelton Weekend Sat 11PM to 12AM after football, Sun Fast Home Rescue 1PM to 2PM.

CW7: Sun Sep 17 Popstar Today 1:30PM to 2PM, The Equalizer 2PM to 3PM, 911 only getting 1EP at 11:30PM to 12:30AM.

WWMT: The Equalizer Late Sun/Early Mon 12:30AM to 1:30AM.

Changes in Mankato, MN starting Monday (Gray owns all the stations in Mankato CBS, FOX, NBC) so changes are minimal.

Tamron Hall is new on KMNF NBC 7-1.
Dateline comes to KMNF NBC 7-1 replacing Rachael
TMZ is dropped off KMNF 7-1 due to CW+ (which is on 7-2 here) carrying TMZ, TMZ Live and Dish Nation a couple times a day. InvestigateTV (GrayTV show) replaces it at 1:12am

48 Hrs comes to KEYC CBS 12-1 overnights
iCrime and InvestigateTV at 3 & 3:30 on CBS 12-1 replacing Phil

Kelly Clarkson on twice daily. 9am on FOX 12-2 and NBC 7-1 noon-1 (the NBC is the same as last year)
Drew moved from 7-1 to KEYC FOX 12-2 10 & 10:30am
Family Feud (which has not been on locally) is now on FOUR times on KEYC FOX 12-2 11-noon and 3-4pm

so the only "new" shows are Tamron and Family Feud. Gray has been minimizing syndicated shows for local shows and Gray owned items. CBS only has Kelly & Mark as syndicated (they had Phil and Oprah too)

I guess we have one more change next week
We get People Puzzler at 2pm on KEYC 12-2 FOX. It replaces Chicago Fire. Pictionary takes the 2nd half of the hour (we already had the show. They just moved timeframes)

WOI 5 in Des Moines Iowa changed their schedule a bit and replaced Forensic Files on Sunday Mornings at 5 and 5:30am starting September 17 with Investigate TV.

Allen Media launches 3 new daily "scripted garbage court programs" for syndication.

There, your headline has been fixed.

I'll keep watching Judge Judy reruns.

Flipping through the channels today on cable Mathis Court and Judge Millian and Eboni K Williams are also on the Justice Channel besides select syndicated markets. This started today September 11th.

Also Judge Mathis reruns are now being shown on OWN along with Dr. Phil during the day starting today September 11.
