After a year and a half of not listening to his show, guess what? Race Taylor is back on WCBS-FM. This is where he took over “Sunny” Joe over at WGNY-FM’s “Fox Oldies”, and previously Bob O at “Fox Oldies” and JJ Carter over at WBPM.
After six months, I had enough with “Sunny” Joe now with all of the 50’s and 60’s oldies with a few 70’s here or there heard on that station, it’s time for a change. As of Tuesday morning, I listened to Race Taylor on WCBS-FM and he is amazing. Race does an incredible job where he took over “Sunny” Joe for midday at “Fox Oldies”, except for Saturdays where “Sunny” Joe can only be heard on Saturdays on “Fox Oldies” from 10AM until noon.
Race Taylor beats all of the midday shows like “Sunny” Joe, Bob O and JJ Carter combined, and he is now the heavyweight champion of the world, and he is now back at the top.
And now, instead of playing 50’s and 60’s oldies, they’re now playing 80’s and 90’s music with less 70’s here or there, and some from the 2000’s. After hearing “Hey Ya” by OutKast, I replaced it with the Kidz Bop version of “Hey Ya”, because I’m not a fan of OutKast, so I prefer the version by the Kidz Bop Kids instead, and it is included with the aircheck itself.
Enjoy while you can, and welcome back Race Taylor, we missed you.
