AUDIO: Race Taylor on WCBS-FM - 9/5/23

After a year and a half of not listening to his show, guess what? Race Taylor is back on WCBS-FM. This is where he took over “Sunny” Joe over at WGNY-FM’s “Fox Oldies”, and previously Bob O at “Fox Oldies” and JJ Carter over at WBPM.

After six months, I had enough with “Sunny” Joe now with all of the 50’s and 60’s oldies with a few 70’s here or there heard on that station, it’s time for a change. As of Tuesday morning, I listened to Race Taylor on WCBS-FM and he is amazing. Race does an incredible job where he took over “Sunny” Joe for midday at “Fox Oldies”, except for Saturdays where “Sunny” Joe can only be heard on Saturdays on “Fox Oldies” from 10AM until noon.

Race Taylor beats all of the midday shows like “Sunny” Joe, Bob O and JJ Carter combined, and he is now the heavyweight champion of the world, and he is now back at the top.

And now, instead of playing 50’s and 60’s oldies, they’re now playing 80’s and 90’s music with less 70’s here or there, and some from the 2000’s. After hearing “Hey Ya” by OutKast, I replaced it with the Kidz Bop version of “Hey Ya”, because I’m not a fan of OutKast, so I prefer the version by the Kidz Bop Kids instead, and it is included with the aircheck itself.

Enjoy while you can, and welcome back Race Taylor, we missed you.

this is some of the dumbest stuff ive ever read. .and ive been in radio 20 yuears and a member of radio message boards even longer, i see lots of dumb stuff.

for most aircheck collectors except you, its not all about liking every song, its the entire aircheck overall. Editing an aircheck is dumb dumb dumb.

Youve gone on incomprehensible, nonsensical rants... post about stuff that you have no clue about, etc

I am willing to bet MTNP is high up on the autism spectrum, his speech and behavior seem to indicate so.

If you are going to post an edited aircheck with replaced songs, please tell us that the audio is not original. This is very deceptive as many might think this is what was actually broadcast.

@DavidEduardo .. to be fair, he did... it just gets lost in his drivel

95.7 The Jet plays that song too.

Not particularly sure what he meant by welcome back Race Taylor either... where did he go? Apparently three radio stations are the same radio station to this user...

i think its welcome back to his listneing schedule.. hes posted the schedule of what stations he listens to when

Bath Salts hmmm. Your reply to my question is uncalled for. You’re not getting it done. You’re not funny but if rude replies gets you by in life. Continue to be clueless. My reply asking if He has been at CBS FM since 2019. The answer is Yes. He has been there since July 2019.

Perhaps try bath salts and then read the post again.
Your reply isn’t funny. You’re not gettin it done. But if Rude comments & bath salts get you through life, Go for it. Race Taylor has been there since July 2019. No need to read the post again. It makes it seem like he went elsewhere & has now returned to CBS FM. So you read the post again 😊

Don't post modified airchecks! That's probably one of the most irritating things aircheck collecters can possibly do (restored airchecks are cool, however).

Race was my afternoon drive guy at KDMX in 96-98...before he left for NY ..super nice guy, very professional and technical....he is a blast to work with and a good friend ...NYs gain was Dallas's loss .
