Aaron Rodgers injury effect on TV games

Aaron Rodgers of the NY Jets suffered a season ending injury on Monday Night Football. I expect that the NFL and the TV networks let the profanities fly when this happened. The ratings will still be strong, but losing a high profile player in the #1 TV market is a bitter pill to swallow. Some are already blaming the Artificial Turf for the injury. A torn Achilles is a brutal injury on a 39 year old body. During the off season, Rodgers supposedly went to a cave to meditate on whether or not to retire. (He didn't and joined the Jets). Guess the Spirits gave him bad advice...😑

Deja vu Vinnie Testaverde all over again? Rodgers had better hope so. Testaverde was 35 when he blew out his Achilles Tendon when playing for the Jets in the first game of the 1999 season. He came back to play 8 more years (3 as a starter) for several teams before retiring from the Panthers in 2007 at age 44.
