Very Strong 88.1 Indie

So I’m getting a better signal from 88.1 Indie in Southlake than my house in Keller. I know it’s 55.000 watts but I’m not that far from home. Anomaly or is this regular?
I’m using a cheap digital Sangean tuner.
 
I have posted about this before, but there is a solid 87.9 pirate signal in McKinney. I can hear it on 75 from roughly 121 to just about the Bucc-ees in Melissa. (oddly that service area seems to shift from time to time) There's never an ID, just music. (an eclectic mix of classic rock might be the best way to describe it) I doubt this signal is causing any issue in Keller. Perhaps there is another pirate near there?
 
There used to be two Franken FMs in DFW. One on 87.7 in Dallas and one on 87.9 in Ft Worth. I remember hearing both of them on e-skip from NJ and I thought it was interesting
