TV Show Cancellation Thread (including ending ones)

Roku gets one of the series that was cancelled at Disney +

Roku has acquired the exclusive, premiere U.S. rights to The Spiderwick Chronicles after Disney+ declined to pick up the completed series.

The eight-episode series, based on the best-selling book series by Tony DiTerlizzi and Holly Black, will premiere on the Roku Channel in early 2024. The series is produced by Paramount Television Studios & 20th Television, a division of Disney, and the series was shopped to other buyers starting this summer.

The Spiderwick Chronicles follows the Grace Family as they move from New York to Michigan and inhabit their family’s ancestral home. At the Spiderwick Estate, they uncover a “secret fantastical world.”

They’ll be no more “Problems“ from Jon Stewart…
how long until Comedy Central says "Screw it, Jon, you want to host the Daily Show once more, you have can have it" now that he's no longer on Apple TV+ and the Daily Show's still looking for a new host, it won't be the first time a host returned after "retiring", see Jay Leno in 2010 after he forced Conan O'Brien out of the Tonight Show to take that show back until his second and more permanent retirement in 2014.

I think Jon wants to do more hard style news now.

That’s not happening. Everything he’s done since then has been much less of a grind than…um…daily. Just because Leno did it does not mean it’s happening again.

Abraham's right. Jon Stewart still has a lot of fans, but tastes have moved on with the younger audience. Late-night audiences are dwindling and those under 30 embrace YouTube/TikTok over traditional TV.

Technically not the DC Universe. It has been established that while the same actors are there, it is not in the universe with "The Flash". But it's a DC Parallel TV universe.
True, Superman & Lois is not part of the Arrowverse, as the universe of Arrow and its related programs is known. I think that @only1moore means the whole DC TV multiverse that also includes Stargirl.
