Noticed that some Lady named Priscilla (La Coqueta) isn’t on air anymore. She’s now online on PLATINOMAX app on a new channel named PLATINOMAX LIVE.

La Mejor has added Gaby La Chona Saturdays from 12-3

La Paisa De Zacatecas Monday-Friday from 11-3

Marlen Garcia 8-11 am on weekends

They also have a morning show Las Mañanas prendidas from 7-11.


The question is…

Why??? Why invest money and time in a station that can’t be hear anywhere. Do people really listen to it online?

Well, showing up in a studio is better for them than just doing an online station. They get paid hourly and the sales director from 104.5 sales to the smaller accounts on 102.5 not big money but it's a little side hustle.

I'm assuming they have overhead. Tower,Rent,payroll,music Licensing,studio lease/office, sales commissions,HD lease,production,lma to Centro Cristiano. Do you think they actually makes some profit?

Add in Social Security costs for staff, insurance, business licenses & permits, electricity, telephone and internet connections, office supplies and maintenance, legal, technical supplies, outside engineering, accounting service and lots more.

Seriously doubt they get free energy, free phone services and free internet. Unless they are using a few of those 50 foot extension cables and plugging it in on an outside outlet of the neighbors building. And are using free WiFi 😂

By the way one of the 102.5s La Mejor was blasting right now till I went down on 45 south by Calvacade. Lost signal, then I got on I10 and it started picking up again by Taylor st till I got to Shepherd dr it lost signal again.
