Where are the folks filing for LPFM licenses?

@DavidEduardo respectfully, while I'm sure this guy is passionate about this conference he's putting on, he's posted nearly a dozen SPAMmy threads under a number of different forums trying to drum up interest for this event. I've seen the moderators of Radio Discussions remove or consolidate posts others have made, for much less reason. This is the 3rd new thread this guy has started in the US National Radio forums alone to SPAM the threads and advertise this show. It's getting to be a bit much.

I'd bet if Frank Berry (RIP) was still here, this would not be going on.
For what little I know, I don't think promoting a radio-based event would be considered 'spam' by any of the moderators.
Just because this event wasn't interesting to you, doesn't mean other folks wouldn't have been interested in hearing about it.

Understand, but it's not like the post or link contains anything inflammatory, or violates any forum rules.
Correct. There is nothing harmful about posts about industry meetings, both in advance and through after event reports.

Agreed. This definitely seems like the type of "serial poster" that Frank would have taken action to address. Just several weeks ago there was someone who posted information about a station sale under 3 different Radio Discussions forums to try and drum up interest, for instance. Frank took down all but one and commented that would be the only thread where further posts about that topic would be permitted.
I think the issue is that the post only consists of the link to his conference.
That, and the guy has posted 8 different posts under 6 different forums with the same link for the same show. Again, it's a bit excessive. FWIW I did get a message from a Radio Discussions moderator shortly after I first posted the message above, explaining this particular member would receive a warning if he posted any more threads advertising that same show.
