The fact is that none of these companies are going to cut their profits to pay workers more. This whole thing will be about passing these new costs to the consumers. In some cases, it will be between content providers and cable companies. Or streaming companies. Or however you get your video. If the actors are getting paid 3 times as much, expect it will cost you more to see them do their job.

You have to wonder when the bubble is going to burst for the entertainment industry due to stratospheric costs. Same thing for professional sports.

I think it was Robert Heinlein who said something about societies being in major trouble when they consider entertainers and professional athletes to be important people…..🤔😣

As I thought the studios wanted the actors & actresses to promote the holiday movies plus to get 13 EPs out for broadcast TV networks for late Jan or Early Feb with very few repeats. It wasn't bad as I like reality TV, some game shows & sports it wasn't that bad I get it may have been bad for those that only like scripted TV, for those that aren't into streaming.
