Bud Hedinger retires from WFLA Orlando

While I was browsing something completely unrelated in WFLA-land for checking out how Alan Spector is doing in radio these days, I ran across the news that Bud Hedinger's last show on Newsradio WFLA Orlando was this past Friday.

Good Morning Orlando, moving forward, will be co-hosted by Simon Conway and Alan Spector.

Wow, Bud Hedinger! I remember watching him during my 1970s college days in Syracuse when he was doing weather on WSYR-TV. He had a cartoon character named Walter Windchill who'd appear on screen to accompany his frosty winter forecasts.
