11/15/2023: As I was driving to work, I noticed that WCCR-AM1260 was off-the-air when I went to check out the 7:30 a.m. newscast on "The Sonrise Morning Show".

Do you really think they would intentionally take the station down for maintenance during a morning news show?
I checked their website and this message is displayed:

Well that would explain why I didn't hear anything early this morning.
Good to know.Sometimes maintenance happens when you least want it to happen, but it has to be done. Especially if subject to the variances in the schedule of a contract engineer as opposed to a staff engineer who may have more flexibility with his own station as opposed to multiple clients.
