WCCR call

I called WCCR AM1260 to share how poor their signal is sometimes in my area and to ask them to start airing "Christopher Closeup", a half-hour talk show hosted by Tony Rossi. The show, recently, had an interesting interview with a lady whose mother survived the Holocaust because she was an accomplished musician. The lady I talked to at WCCR, somehow, recognized me by pointing out that I was one of their donors. What was impressive about that recognition is that I only, one time, donated $40 to be used for transmitter maintenance.

You’re probably the only person that’s ever donated to maintain a transmitter

I hope not. I donated at the time I received their periodical in which the top story was their transmitter and transmission related issues. They are/were only pumping out 2,000 watts ERP with underground Infrastructure being part of the problem. I posted about it here, and went into detail about what they were facing.
