Hot 93.3 mornings

93.3 K-Love, 93.3 The Ticket, 93.3 WBAP, please something that's not this abomination that is this so-called "90s-early 2000s hits station" that still plays the garbage of today.

Let's be honest, 93.3 has never pulled ratings that make a dent close to Kiss, Mix, Star, etc.

What happened to the Adam Bomb Morning Show on Hot 93.3? His name has been removed from their website.
Screenshot just taken. Bomb's name is still listed on the site menu and on the sidebar of the site as seen below.

His getting hired by WNGC had nothing to do with his other voicetracking jobs for Cumulus including KLIF-FM mornings.

I guess I’m one of the few that actually enjoys the music on Hot 93.3. I know that this probably doesn’t matter much to the average listener, but Hot’s imaging is soooooo much better than Kiss’. At least they aren’t using 12 different voiceover talents, including 1 that’s been dead for 4.5 years…

I do not care for his recent work at all. He's heard in evenings (on tape) on WDVD in Detroit.

I wonder what "research" went into 93.3's current format? What a massive flop!!!

It's about time they go ahead and put this station out of its misery. Especially the name.

I can get the same type of format 93.3 is doing by just listening to Spotify or Youtube Music.

You can replicate ANY music format by doing that, especially Kiss…so I don’t see your point.

The name is a "brand" just like Tide or Jell-O or Butterfinger or Crest. If the brand has equity there is no reason to change it.

Sure there is. Juat ask the good folks at the Pearl Milling Company. Nearly a century of brand recognition thrown by the wayside.

Not sure that's an apt comparison due to the reasons behind the change.

An argument can be made that the Hot 93.3 brand is worthless as the ratings attest. However, what is the point of changing it when there is not going to be any marketing done to raise awareness of what the station is now. That's the issue facing many struggling or new brands launched in recent years.

Sure you can. But you need a user name & password, and for that, they want your personal information.

There's no need for restaurants or fast food outlets. We can all cook the same food at home, probably for less.

But it's easier and more convenient to just get someone else to do the work.

You do realize there are people are still associating the "brand" Hot with it's former format. Not knowing it's a different format, despite the said "brand"...

Considering the ratings history of "Hot 93.3" in Dallas/Fort Worth, I doubt that there is much brand equity in that particular name.
