WSMX-FM being sold

You're really pressing your luck here... 🤣
to International JADE Group. JADE is in the process of purchasing WBIB-AM and its FM translator, W267DA, licensed to Centreville.

Interesting turn of events, wouldn't you say? I'll refrain from saying more bc we lowly "streamers" aren't allowed to give our input concerning "real radio stations", or so I've been told, anyway, even if that information is concerning public record...

We're just radio peeons, not qualified to make these posts or have these moments of wonderment about what the station will be doing.

Since we're on the topic of International JADE group, was the sale of Centreville's WBIB-AM and FM translator W267DA ever consummated? The transfer of license was approved on 11/8, but there is no info, at least on FCCdata.org, that the sale was ever finalized. Maybe it's just been delayed? Isn't there a 60 day window the consummation info can be submitted to the FCC once the license transfer has been approved?

Just noted on almediapage.info's site that the WSMX-FM license transfer to JADE was dismissed by the FCC on 12/26. Any idea as to why?
