Yes, but he did leave here aI expect iHeart to do the same thing regarding morning drive on their Phoenix and Tucson sports stations. Jody Oehler is a UA guy, isn't he?
I'm just saying, if iHeart is simulcasting shows on their talk stations in both Phoenix and Tucson, they can do the same with morning drive on their sports stations in both places.Yes, but he did leave here afew yearsdecade ago for the gig in the big city.
Sports?! You do recall that Gila River dividing line between ¡Arizona! and Baja Arizona...I'm just saying, if iHeart is simulcasting shows on their talk stations in both Phoenix and Tucson, they can do the same with morning drive on their sports stations in both places.
I'd imagine the issues in Phoenix aren't THAT much different than the issues in Tucson, 115 miles away.

Yeah - especially if it comes to non-professional sports by college teams (NAU is exempt...) discussion.
I see that being the challenge. Not many down here give twoabout most sports by those attending the school up north.
XTRAFox Sports 910 can cater to the UA fan in the Phoenix area (there are plenty of them here) while giving Tucson what they want to hear. It's not like they really care about ASU sports at this moment, especially the guy in morning drive.
And Tucson gets a quasi-local morning sports show which is four hours long (even the UA-branded Cumulus station doesn't have a local morning drive show). I don't know if Tucson wants their early afternoon guys since their thing is to do daily remotes from (and plugs for) businesses in the Phoenix Metro Area. And, frankly, it might be an alternative that they feel can attract some listeners they can super-serve. It's not like KMVP-FM doesn't exist or anything.
Though, to be fair, this simulcast will be an interesting experiment. IHM may well take this effor tto other markets if...oh, heck, it doesn't even have to work well, I'm sure.<...>
That's probably iHearts best bet to keep both their Phoenix and Tucson sports stations alive a little longer.
The show still has right wing content on it, including a political spiel for the first 10 minutes of the first hour. I'd just listen to old Art Bell episodes online if I were you. Though they did have a guest on a few weeks ago who had written a book on animals that was a fun listen, but had nothing to do with the paranormal. I think Premiere is trying to make it into more of a general talk show with politics, etc.Is the Art Bell-less CTC-AM still right wing wacko talk or has any of it gotten back to little green spacemen and Bigfoot and Bermuda Triangle-type stuff?
