Live 105 #2 in the 18-34 demo...but, but, no one listens to rock...only white people listen to rock 🤣
Remember, you are looking at share and not ratings in a highly fragmented market. The whole rock "universe of stations" only has a very small share of all listening.

I know you are being sarcastic but I’d like to add this too,

That stereotype is just wholly and categorically untrue, modern rock is a large genre that spreads all ages and demographics. KITS is my most listened to station and such an absolute gift to the bay. It is true that David says they represent a lower share by some metrics, such as Spotify streams — but I would disagree with the very small share assessment. There is multiple platforms like Apple Music, YouTube, Amazon and Souncloud.

A good example would be this survey they it comes up as the most listened to genre on digital music. Additionally, Nielsen Music recognizes it as the largest genre.

Also, when is KRBQ going to do something? It’s just floundering hard.

When is KYLD gonna do something? Just wondering.

That can be a disadvantage. Radio doesn't sell "everybody." It sells specific bodies. So what Audacy needs KITS to do is reach men 18-49. Mostly in their 30s. The highest point of the bell curve should be 38 year old men.

The other thing to keep in mind is that if KITS is a 4 share station, that means 96% of the audience is listening to something else.
