When I was leaving Dallas and driving home, I tuned into a fill in show, for Ben and Skin called “Four Bad B***hes and a Steve.” They spent 2 segments talking about their favorite cheesecake. In other segments they were talking about why they don’t understand why the price of streaming is going up. Aside from the awkward and painful pre-recorded intros, awful dad jokes and at least 2 spot blocks per hour that are all PSAs, everything is fine! I’m ready for them to prove us all wrong and somehow steal Cowboys rights from 105.3 and dethrone The Ticket as the number one station in Dallas. Not to mention their RDS still says The Eagle, days later.

They may as well -- Radio One certainly needs to do something, because The Beat is just dying. For total audience, it is now in a three-way tie with The Freak and with EMF's worship format on a rimshot (KYDA). That just seems pitiful.
