Duplicate subchannels at WXIA 11 ??

Are subchannel changes in store for WXIA? Why are they running Quest on 11.2 and 11.4? Is one just a placard for something else coming soon? 11.7 is Get, which they praobably want to leave alone and 11.3 is True Crime. Rewind-TV is the largest and most popular retro-themed subchannel currently not available in Atlanta. Nexstar owns it, which seems to be the issue keeping it out of this top television market. Me-TV+ owned by Weigel would be another good add for Atlanta. Weigel must consider it too competitive with their regular Me-TV because it has not expanded much (only 18 affiliates) since the September 2021 start. Not a lot has been happening here at the subchannel level for a few months. It would be nice to see WXIA "shake things up" (and in a big way) only time will tell. Stay tuned.

Was circle on one of those recently? A couple networks left the air at the end of the year and Tegna just remapped an existing net for the time being. Same thing in Minneapolis as example (Circle and twist left so they mapped true crime to 2 stations)

MeTV+ is only on Weigel owned stations OTA (along with a couple streaming services like frndly). There are no Weigel owned stations in atl

It was Twist. Nexstar shut down that subchannel which was on WXIA.

That hasn't kept Me-TV out of Atlanta (not having a Weigel owned station).

Gotcha. Figured it was one of those two

So? Look at the list of MeTV plus stations and who owns the station they are on

Every one is a Weigel owned station. (The Utah translators carry the Weigel owned nets)

All I can say is Rewind TV is looking back in it's dust cloud after soaring passing Me-TV+ (which has similar programs but seems to lack a full commitment from Weigel). Unlike Nexstar, which is able to support both Antenna TV and Rewind TV at the same time. Tegna must have been caught off guard by the Twist shut down. Are they now trying to figure out what to do about it?

I.M.O. (of the big 4 networks in ATL) WXIA has the weakest subchannels. WSB, WANF and WAGA are all about even and have the MORE DESIREABLE ones.

Tegna owned Twist, so no, it was not caught off guard.
