LATINX MOVES TO EXITOS

LATIN X 103.7FM/105.3 HAS NOW CHANGED TO EXITOS. Latinos I know for sure don't call themselves Latinx.
I have never heard a Spanish dominant or bilingual Hispanic use "Latinx" but many in my world comment that the term is "nasty" to pronounce and "obviously created by some ignorant Anglos in Washington".

I really don't know too many totally English speaking Hispanics, so I don't know if, perhaps, the term is attractive or at least acceptable to them.

(For those who don't know, I'm a born 4th generation Irish-American on my dad's side but have been culturally a Latino for over 60 years, working, thinking and enjoying life mostly in Spanish.)

Haven't used my HD portable for awhile but did hear 96.9 HD2 la Playa, music in Spanish, fairly new. No other real changes; Audacy did indeed shut off the 93.7 HD 2 with "WAAF" but it may still be on 104.1 HD2.
The local subchannels continue to offer FM homes for WRKO, WXKS AM, and WBZ AM as well as Black Info network.

HD2s and 3s can help out signal challenged AMs but people may just opt for streams.
Howie yrs ago on WRKO:"You can't get the signal west of Kenmore Sq at night"
(the stick's in Burlington, actually)
WEEI when the local sports stuff was confined to AM kept playing audio of a woman saying "Hello! I was wondering what happens to WEEI in the evenings"
