Channel 2 Updated Banners

After what, 10 years WSB TV updated the news banners and moved the id bug to the left side. I noticed during the noon show. The 11pm WSB Tonight newscast has always used a different styling of banners.

Still weird to me that they don't include the ABC logo anywhere. Yes, I know channel 2 is a big deal here (whether it's affiliated with a network or not). But it's just always bugged me for some reason. Lol

But only during Kelly and Ryan, Kelly Clarkson, and Tamron Hall; for others, it's just the regular "2" logo.
Yeah it seems its only during syndicated shows. Across town 11 ALIVE removed the NBC logo from their latest logo revamp and 46 removed all traces of CBS completely during its rebrand to ANF, Atlanta News First

No. In fact, many networks seem to encourage it. From my recollection, just about every FOX affiliate had a logo with the Fox Pictures searchlights in the late 90s/early 2000s (example from Alasak) File:KFXF 2008.jpg - Wikimedia Commons

And today many Fox stations are simply "Fox <channel number>" with the Fox almost always rendered in the same bold type as the network logo.

Don't watch Fox except for Football and occasionally the 10pm news. IIRC Fox 5 in Atlanta is an O & O. Makes since for them but I wonder about the small markets. Do they put the network logo on during the syndicated judge and who is the Daddy shows. Some companies take there logo copyright protection very seriously.

In the early 1973 the Tennessee Tech bookstore got into a nasty letter from Disney over using the "Mickey Mouse Club" logo on Tennessee Tech tee shirts. They bought the shirts from a Disney vender and added Tennessee Tech. to it.
