Maybe one of these?

KCPC - 88.3 Camino [Tx in Camino] - (Nevada City Community Broadcast Group)
KJCN - 107.5 Sutter Creek [Tx in Pine Grove] - (Sonora Sierra Heritage Foundation)
KKFS - 103.9 Lincoln [Tx in Newcastle] - (Salem Media Group)
KLVB - 99.5 Citrus Heights [Tx in Folsom] - (Education Media Foundation K-LOVE)

Listing says commercial.

KKFS - 103.9 Lincoln [Tx in Newcastle] - (Salem Media Group)
Possible, but that's not Salem's normal broker.

KLVB - 99.5 Citrus Heights [Tx in Folsom] - (Education Media Foundation K-LOVE)
EMF is not selling.

More likely you're looking at a deep rimshot like 94.1 KNCO or 95.9 KBYN.

Or Lotus' KVMX at 92.1. That's what I thought of first when I read this. But Lotus just bought the 105.5, so it seems like they're expanding. The ad seems to imply at least partial coverage of Sacramento. KBYN doesn't even qualify as a deep rimshot, thanks to HD interference from 96.1, and 94.1 is a mix of KPFA and KNCO throughout the metro. We shall see...

And, on this board previously _ Lotus has no debt load and would unlikely be selling unless the price is ridiculously outrageous

Alt 94.7 KKDO
_ low rated, ✔️ Audacy.... ✔️

but the million dollar price tag wouldn't work ×
Audacy does not need to sells stations. Its problems were due to debt, but operations were profitable on a cash flow basis.

If it’s a class A as the ad states, and it’s commercial, it pretty much has to be 103.9, 99.5, or 92.1.

…unless they are using a broad brushstroke for “Sacramento Valley”, in which case, my money is on KRVR as a Modesto rimshot

KGRB Jackson was once KNGT. I remember a former co-worker living in Buckhorn near Jackson and was sad when it changed formats.

If he's still there, he's happy again. The folks from KNGT were on the SCA of KGRB for a while, then got a license for an AM on 1340 - KVGC. They then got an FM translator that's on Mt Zion (96.5) with 100 watts. Not as great as KNGT was, but close. It'll do fine in Buckhorn.

The Mt Zion site, oddly enough, seems to do worse in the Amador upcountry than Jackson Butte (KNGT’s old site, and still KGRB’s backup). Once you get past Buckhorn, those signals get fairly dicey.

And the only other station that fits the commercial/class A description of the listing (assuming the broker got it correctly) is KKCY in Yuba City. That’s not east from Sac, though.

My guess (and $100 gentleman’s bet) is 103.9. Salem is in selling mode, specifically selling a few of their “Fish” branded CCMs. Even though it isn’t their normal broker, I’d imagine they can/have used others. Every other piece of the puzzle fits fairly well.

Except the price. The L-R signal map shows great coverage. If it goes for a million, radio stations are less of an investment and more of a liability.
