I agree that SXM is a minor competitor. That is admitted by the SXM CEO. But I get what the OP is saying, that SXM provides liner, hosted, curated audio, which is comparable to OTA radio. Streaming options for the most part do not. Online radio stations attempt to mimic the effect, but with obvious limitations. Apple and TuneIn are offering linear services similar to radio. People tend to use streaming services such as Spotify when all they want is a music delivery service. SXM does a good job mimicking OTA radio. They currently do a lot of things that were once done on OTA but either became expensive or appealed to limited audiences.
