Seattle Crystal Award nominations

Well, this was surprising. KQMV and KIRO-FM have both appeared in the NAB's Crystal Award nominations for years, but the station we've been concerned about flipping, KPNW-FM, is also nominated this year. They must be doing something right. I can't imagine an award like this meaning anything for the station's revenue though.
 
They certainly don’t give out the Crystal Award for ratings. It’s more about community involvement, giving back, being a good corporate citizen and devoting the time to fill out the application.
