Brand new FM station coming soon?

On the FCCData.org, there is a new station with a CP that will broadcast on 102.9. It was accepted for filing in 2021, and now recently has been given the WBMG call letters. Their city of license is in Narrowsburg, NY on the PA/NY line. Their proposed coverage area will cover Honesdale and surrounding communities. It will be owned by Bold Gold Media, which also owns "The River" WWRR in the SWB area as well as three Honesdale area stations. As for the call letters, I guess it may stand for Bold Gold Media Group. If the station launches in the future, I wonder what format is it going to be? Honesdale has WDNH(AC), WYCY(Classic Hits), and WPSN(News/Talk). Would Country work?

WDNH is Top 40. Won't that be an issue for 102.7 in NYC and Williamsport?

By definition, no. The channel could only have been allotted to Narrowsburg if it met the FCC's minimum spacing requirements, which of course it does.

But only ... (puts on sunglasses) ... Narrowly

They are essentially as close to WILK-FM/Avoca, PA as possible.
