Hot 106.7

I read that sadly Hot 106.7 switched to Rhythmic CHR. So that means areas like Carlsile do not have a CHR. Will another station flip to CHR in that area?

I don’t see anyone picking up the Top 40/CHR mantle. Besides, FM97 WLAN already reaches Harrisburg, Lancaster, York, Hershey and Reading.

And down goes another Bert Show and Elliot affiliate. Thats at least the second one in the past 6-8 months I know of just randomly. Kansas City went bye bye back last fall.

Encouraged to see a new non big city Rhythmic appear.

What about the far western edges of the Harrisburg metro?
Closest you'll get is WINK 104. True, they're Hot AC not CHR, but that's what you've got right now. Unless you get WIOO or WHYL to try it with their AM/FM Translator combos, I doubt anyone else will jump on the format in that area.

Not a very surprising turn of events when you look at their ratings. It's interesting that while they are now reporting to the Rhythmic panel, they are still keeping a pop-lean by playing David Guetta, Ariana Grande, etc. One of the few stations on that panel playing pop hits as well. What's also kind of interesting is that WNNK is upping spins on their currents slightly, I would have thought "if it ain't broke don't fix it".

They always had a Rhythmic lean.

And WINK 104 is Hot 106.7’s sister station.
