Syndication for 2024-25

Still no word on whether weekday syndication reruns of Dr. Phil and Judge Mathis and The People’s Court and Maury and Jerry Springer will continue for 24-25 and beyond… does anyone know?

Also have any stations in Philadelphia cleared Judy Justice yet?

No idea about any of them but my guess about Dr. Phil is that the reruns might stop. They are on Own but Merrit Street just launched and his talk show is on there too.

So if Dr. Phil continues on OWN and on his new network Merrit Street then they may be gone from local syndication.

Fox First Run renewed 25 Words or Less (Season 6), Pictionary (Season 3) and Person, Place, or Thing (Season 2) on Fox Television Stations this fall.

It's interesting that in my family, 3:00 used to be the hour that Mom was watching Rachael Ray...now she's watching Dr. Phil repeats now that Rachael is out of production - even though she never was a regular watcher when it *was* in production. She doesn't care for Drew Barrymore or Access Hollywood (on dueling channels, same time). The same goes with Judge Judy.
I wouldn't be surprised if stations that run JJ repeats right now also throw Judy Justice in one of the old Judge Judy timeslots.

The 3:00 hour here is pretty interesting then what it use to be in the older days where there was Ricki Lake or Sally Jessy Raphael, Montel Williams and Maury Povich when it use to be more of a regular talk show.

Now it's Pictionary, Jennifer Hudson, Jeopardy, or Drew Barrymore. Des Moines don't carry Dr. Phil reruns but they carry Judge Judy 3 times a day so they probably will stock up on more Judy in the fall.

Where did you hear about the new stations? But this is likely where you got this from. An article from last year. ‘Family Feud’ Renewed Through 2025-26 By Lionsgate’s Debmar-Mercury
It looks like KCAL in Los Angeles will end up getting Family Guy, Bob's Burgers, Forensic Files, Cheaters, Pawn Stars, Young Sheldon, The Goldbergs, Friends and Two and a half Men because CBS News and Stations owned-and-operated television stations airs Family Guy and Bob's Burgers in other markets since KTLA will pick up Judy Justice and KTTV and KCOP will pick up Family Feud

How they gonna fit KTLA with a near all-news schedule, Nexstar might need to create a duopoly in their largest markets to fill the gap.

Since KTLA is showing all-news they should be branded as KTLA 5 News Now similar what KYAV in Palm Springs is showing

Unless Nexstar might have to buy KWHY to create a duopoly with KTLA in their largest markets to fill the gap like you said.

Otherwise their Spanish-language Independent superstation might have to move to KBEH since their Time Brokerage Agreement with Universal Church is about to expire in a few weeks which is in May that would be an option.
