Overloading on FM

I have like 2 Radio I got on ebay my XHDATA D-109 & my Tecsun R-9700DX

Overloads like nuts when your close to a Transmitter..I live like 10 mins walking distent in Carmichael from the

K289CT Translator for KFIA, I forgot another translator at that site

Even when I was in Dayton, NV for 7 Months, Still had Overload on my XHDATA D-109

I guess I have ti shell more $$$ for a Good Radio that cancel out Overloading on FM

Not only could "the big boys," aka 100 kW transmitters on tall towers or mountains, overload an inexpensive radio, but so could the TV stations that are co-located.

A lot of cheap radios will become desensitized around strong signals even from outside of the band they are designed for.

Might want to look into the TEF radios if your looking for something on FM. Car tuner in a portable package.

Well the TEF Radios are not in my Price Range like $40 to 60

There's a small HamGeek white TEF6686 radio for about $40 on aliExpress.
