What are these and what are they connected to?
OK, I'll ask the obvious question: why four of them? I have two of a few models of radio -- two SRI's (bought one new, got the other one at a thrift store 15 years ago), and two SRIII's (one was a gift to my late mother). I've thought about getting a backup to a small XHDATA I've got, because it's an inexpensive, but useful little radio.
So why four? Do you listen to four different frequency bands at the same time? Are they just backups in case one fries? Just curious.
Are there any quad stations in signal range by you? If so, you seem all set for maximum fidelity appreciation.
I'm curious. Why four of the same radios?
What kind of battery do they use? Just curious. And which brand is it? Couldn't find it online.Battery meter seems inaccurate, i want one or two always charged if the battery runs down on another.. want one if another breaks.. they take a month to come from china.

When I search TEF6686 I get different models from that one. No dual speakers. Several on Amazon, well over $100. Single speaker. There's got to be a manufacturer brand name somewhere on the device? No idea
and the "model name" is at the very top of my first post.. TEF6686./. its all over ebay and aliexpress
Where do you buy them and how much? Is this better to buy on AliBaba or AliExpress or from Amazon and its type domestically?

For anyone exploring buying things from Alibaba or AliExpress, keep in mind that items that use pirated designs may be listed from a variety of sellers.TEF6686 IS the name, its prob. manufactured by several companies and some are copies of a copy
I bought mine with a silver metal case with one speaker from Amazon. If you live in North America flash the firmware to 2.0 as the stock radio is configured for European listeners e.g. 9 khz MW, 50uS FM de-emphasis. YouTube has videos on how to flash the firmware.
