New TV station logo thread...

Due to the previous thread on station logos being locked for inactivity, I thought I'd start a new one here, and to begin with, here's another of my favorites-- this one from WLBT Channel 3 (NBC of Jackson, MS) in '84 (simply has a large 1979 peacock, and the WLBT call letters, channel number, and city of license in Serif Gothic font)...

KLCS Los Angeles logo it's rare to hear this PBS affiliate mentioned given that it's an instructional and educational station owned by the Los Angeles Unified School district. Also this station is overshadowed by the primary PBS affiliates like KOCE and KCET aka PBS SoCal in the Los Angeles TV Market.

KCPQ logo back when it was a sister station of KCRA 3 Sacramento. I saw some of the airchecks where KCPQ used KCRA footage back when KCPQ was considering forming a news department back then.

KTEH San Jose Station ID late 1990's-Early 2000's until KQED took over KTEH and renamed it KQED+.

And heres a rare on KNTV Sign off from 1984 when it was seen from San Jose to Monterey as that areas ABC Affiliate.

KQED Inc used to own KQEC 32 San Francisco (Now known as KMTP San Francisco) in 1990 until KMTP took over.

There used to be a KFCB 42 in Concord, CA and it was a religious station during the time this station operated under the KFCB license in the 1980's and 1990's before they became the current KTNC- TV.

Here is KEMO-TV 20 San Francisco from the 1970's. This is a rare aircheck of this TV station before James Gabbert took over and renamed it KTZO and KOFY.

I lived near there at the time and the front door of the station's building has handles that looked like that 8 divided into two parts.

Merry Christmas and here is when KSCH-TV Sacramento signed on back in 1986. As of 2024-2025 season KSCH-TV is currently known as KQCA-TV and is currently a CW affiliate and a secondary NBC affiliate in Sacramento whenever it's sister station KCRA has to go to breaking news.
