WFYY's "Florida man radio"' 0.5 share is impressively low. They are within spitting distance of WXXL-hd2 Pride Radio which has a 0.4 share.
Is it too soon to guess on their next format?
LOL. It just didn't seem to be a format for metro Orlando. Hopefully the next format will work. 103.1 may be a bit weaker than some stations, but it is just fine in the 3 major counties, Orange, Osceola and Seminole. Lake County is also sort of part of Orlando and the signal is fine there too.You called it! You didn’t even have to wait a month for that prediction to come true.
Good question. Probably not good would be my guess.Forgetting useless 6+ numbers, I wonder what their in-demo numbers were?
It's hard to assume that. If their intended target demo is narrow, say men 18-24, then it would make sense that their 6+ useless total would be that low. One has to remember, that national ad reps that buy demos don't care about non-demo ratings. Some don't care about ratings at all. Sports/Sports talk is a great example. Major ad agencies whose clients are beer, pickup trucks and jewelry want to reach the male 18-54 demo, so they buy ads on sports stations.Good question. Probably not good would be my guess.
