New SDR in Bermuda

I've been hoping for an SDR in Bermuda for so long.

However, there's a lot of static.

Still, I could hear the WFAN, WABC, and WCBS, KYW, WPHT which were all slowly fading in and out

On 610, it was all WIOD until it faded away.

I hope the static issue is resolved because it would be amazing to hear what you can get in the daytime!

Here's the link if you're interested.

Thank you to whoever started this SDR.

I tuned in that new Bermuda SDR -- btw: thanks for the link, Gar HI -- and couldn't find the provision to type in a desired frequency. On a few other sites -- Scranton, SFO -- I encountered the same problem : the usual means to enter a frequency either is blocked by the frame of the surfing page or wasn't there to summon anyway. And I couldn't re-size or even shift that right panel.
Anyone?
I want my SDR! :)

That's interesting because it looks the same as all the other SRRs to me.

But unlike the others, you have to enter a username before you can use the tuner. Just type in any name and it will work.

And BTW, there's also a new one in Ocean City, Maryland.

It's good for daytime DXing and the big NYC stations come in like locals during the day.

The Philly stations are there too but not as strong.

I tried it a couple of times since @Gar launched this thread, and on my first visit I was able to pull in WFAN, WOR, WABC and WCBS from the ether around Midnight EDT (mid-evening here in California). But the signals were all noisy and staticky. WPHT wasn't any better. And even the Hamilton locals (supposedly on 1160, 1280, 1450 and 1610) were virtually all MIA; I couldn't hear any of them cleanly enough to hear anything intelligible, much less get an ID. The second visit was daytime, and nothing I landed on gave anything but noise.

Steve buddy, there should be a "slide-out" window on the right side of the screen with tuning controls. If you don't see it, try resizing your browser window, and/or look for an arrow along the right margin (about a quarter-way up from the bottom-right corner) and click it. That should make the tuning window "slide" out so you can select a band (from a pop-up), direct-enter a frequency (ex: 1010.000, 770.000), or up-tune or down-tune using the + and - buttons. And a bunch of other controls that I'm still learning to use.

Thanx there, Neil and Co.
I followed some of those F-11 / Alt / spacebar / ctrl / sign-of-the-cross adjustments from some help pages and got that full slide-out window on the SDR Bermuda you mentioned. It too some time, with the Windows 02 I have. But the Bermuda page and some others I tried from the collection of maybe 20 SDRs now behave themselves.
(Vis a vis DX on the Bermuda site: Nothing but various grumbles of noise on the AM band. I tried the four frequencies Neil listed, but got zilch. No available scrolling stream was even close to red.)
On the brighter side, a good DX pal would love it. 'What a great DX spot! Nothing comes in!'
