KHTI (Hot 103.9) appears to be a bigger problem. Unfortunately, I don't have the key demo numbers - only the 6+ numbers, but I highly doubt they're doing well in their target demos. Unless they have a sales team that can work some magic, and very low operating expenses, I can't see how they could be profitable.
Perhaps, due to their signal limitations, they should consider simulcasting their sister station on 101.3 and/or perhaps finding a more niche format that will increase the time spent listening to help make up for the limited cume potential considering their small coverage area.
I'm curious what other peoples thoughts are? ..or do you think that the station is not a distressed property and will continue with the format.
