I was in my car today around lunchtime and tuned to Star 94.

I was expecting to hear automated back-to-back music, spots and sweepers. But to my surprise, a jock, Skye Smith, was on. And to my delight, she sounded good.

She gave me the impression that she was live, announcing the phone number for a contest and then chatting on air with the winner. But these days, you never know.

Not too sure about that. Skye primarily works in sales at Audacy Atlanta and has been tracking late nights for a few years. She's been with Radio One and Cox Atlanta as well in her career.
